American Airlines kicked me off my flight twice as they closed the walkway door on my face?!?

So I fly from SLC to MIA and connect in DFW. The first morning I was running late and paid $50 to reschedule for a later flight. The later flight gets into DFW late by 15 minutes but out connection doesn’t leave for another 10,so the crew at the desk said they were holding the flight and that if we hurried we’d make the flight. So we run from terminal A to C and as we get there they close the ramp on us and said the plane left and they gave our seats away. So I was totally pissed about that and AA refunded the $50. So on our return from MIA the pilots are 90 minutes late! We had a 95 minute layover in DFW so we know we would be on the rush again. When we get to DFW they say hurry they’re holding the flight. As we get their they close the door on us and walk the 2 people that took our seats down the ramp! SO after throwing a fit the rude desk guy put me on the next Delta flight. So AA offers me a $200 coupon, they really screwed up more than $200 should I try and get more out of them?

The flight they would have to whoever told you probably were never notified that twice they left empty they really wanted you probably were given away if the country think you should focus your complaint on being told to whoever told to hurry to the.

airlines can hold the gate for a short time only the plane MUST leave as scheduled
the gate is usually closed 10 -15 minutes before departure to allow the passengers to get settled
they cant delay the departure just for one passenger
